VFX Scope Overview

This project is a 25-minute short film shot on Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K (BRAW Q0, 6144x3456) and iPhone 14 Pro. Final delivery is cropped to 2.39:1 at true
24.000 fps, color-managed in DaVinci Resolve (BMD Film Gen 5 → Rec.709). All rough “roadmap” composites were built in DaVinci Resolve/Fusion for timing and framing; they are functional but require pro-level polish, realism, and in some cases, 3D integration.

Source material includes:

  • Green screen footage (hotel interior, car interiors – day & night)

  • Practical driving background plates (Panasonic GH5, 4K)

  • iPhone footage for select pickups

Finale shot has no existing drone plate — it will need to be created from scratch in CG or with projection/matte painting techniques, either as a static overhead or dynamic rising reveal. Requires integration of 3D vehicles, helicopters, and realistic environmental lighting/shadows.

Final VFX will be delivered back in a Resolve-friendly format (ProRes 4444 with alpha or final comp baked over plate, as appropriate).

Deadline: Final approved VFX by October 10, 2025 (festival-ready).
