If someone ain’t getting shot… it’s probably not an Octane MP film! And this one is a doesy! Murder, sex, rock and roll, guns, gangsta rap, lots of profanity… did I mention murder? And believe or not, “Dead Chick” is a comedy! A comedy that somehow ends with a shootout with police!

So If you are easily offended… or own one of those “blue line” flags… this might not be the project for you. But if you dig starring in a wild and weird action short… then proceed to step two!

step two: read all the good news/ bad news

• Shoot is Non-Union Ultra Low Budget.

• No student film. Crew is experienced and professional

• Goal is a targeted Action Genre and Mid-Tier Film Festival Run.

• “Dead Chick” will show in Film Festivals only. No release to YouTube or Vimeo for nearly a year.

• IMDB credit for cast and crew

• Meals & Snacks provided

• $150 per day for speaking roles greater than five lines of dialogue

• $50 per day non-speaking roles and roles less than five lines of dialogue.

• Digital copy of film (for your reel only)

• No Hotel or Accommodations provided

• Transportation not provided

• Transportation reimbursement not provided.

• Shoot days depends per character

  • Simon = 4 days

  • Ty = 3 days

  • Mac Dawg = 2 days

  • Dead Chick, Fan, Cops, Foreign Boss Lady & non-speaking roles = 1 day
